The Ninth Hour is Coming
John 12:20-32
All Christ’s miracles point toward a prophetic move of the Spirit. Jesus feeds 5,000 in the Gospels and in Acts 4, 5,000 are added to the Church. In Acts 3:19-26 Peter declares that God’s restoration will be preceded by repentance and a time of refreshing. The miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 did not turn a people back to Him. In this hour there is a demand for miracles and refreshment. The ninth hour visitation that will come in the future is found and declared in Acts 3:21-26. There will be more than refreshment in this visitation. There will be a people who will repent and be turned from their iniquities.
In the ninth hour in Acts 3, God performs His miracle at the Gate of the Temple. In Matthew 27:46-54, in the ninth hour the veil of the Temple was rent in twain. In the ninth hour the Lord will visit His temple to finish His work. As we look at the lame man at the Gate Beautiful we see a condition similar to that of the church’s today. He was lame, in poverty, and trusting in silver and gold. There were faithful men who laid him at the gate daily, ultimately making a way for healing through Peter and John. In our day as a faithful remnant puts His church before the Lord in intercession, truly God in His sovereignty will visit His church. The ninth hour visitation will empower the Church to govern the earth. Pray on, Church and He will suddenly come to His Temple.
