For the Church
The church is to be built and established by the Lord Himself by means of the work of the Holy Spirit. A major part of our vision is to cooperate with Him in what He declared He would do, "I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)
We envision that the church, as the Body of Christ, is to contain and express the fullness of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:23)
The Church, as the Bride of Christ, is to become a glorious church, holy and without blemish, fit to stand by His side. (Ephesians 5:27; 2Corinthians 11:2) In order to attain to this, the Church must be fully cleansed and sanctified by the water of a pure word, (Ephesians 5:26) and must be exposed to an on-going process of purification (Titus 2:14; 1John 3:3)
The Church is to be God's instrument in bringing judgment to principalities and powers (Ephesians 3:10), blessings to all mankind (Galatians 3:8), a new kingdom order to the earth (Isaiah 51:16; 61:4; Revelation 12:10,11), and utmost glory to God (Ephesians 3:21).
[NOTE: The church as a whole is today falling short of that which God has purposed for her, but God is raising up a company of people called 'overcomers' who will fulfill God's purpose instead of the church. We find the scriptural basis for this aspect of vision from a reading of Revelation, chapters 2 and 3. An amplification of this truth can be found under our topic, "End-Time Truth".]
